Story starts out with Dr. Beth and she's meeting together with all the othes that greducated and will be starting work.  She also meets Dr. Ethan who she's taken with. Dr. Ethan mothes in China wants to come take care of him.  Ethan wants to be himself as he will be working many hours a day still.  He doesn't want to mislead her but she wants grandbabies...

Love the challenges they put upon each other. Love how they also work as a team. Great read.

Texas Reckless Cowboy by Rebecca Crowley

Starts when Georgia, assistant district attorney is on the ballot for the big seat.  Story is also following Cy, a powerful man in Last Stand. He has a plan that will mutually benefit the both of them. Yes there are problems, many of them and on and off again relationship but Cy has the solution.

Descriptive with details and plot of the story. Can't wait to read the next book in the series. Like learning about the politics as well as the events in town. Good read.

Unbreak My Heart by Dakota Harrison

Story starts with Simon and he and his brother run the family business. He also sometimes tend bar at the spotted cow. He knows how to do a lot when it comes to building a house. He had one once with his wife and they were starting their young family. Then he lost it all. He has anxiety issues that keep him from talking to women and much more.

He meets Eva and after talking to her, he feels calm so invites her to a hotel room for the night. Things don't go as planned....

She is the new architect at the company to refurb the bar and quarters over it.

His brother is amazed that they know each other.  Like how she invites him into her family, meeting her mom and son and how the son reacts.

She is able to put things into action with what is known about the design and style of it. He is beside himself at the party when he discovers what's really going on.

Love how he cherishes, uplifts her and she's not s super model so that more than makes her fall for him.  He's such a gentleman also.

Love this tender story and outcome.

Great read, can't wait to read more of the back stories in the series.

Make You Mine (The Walker Family Book 1) by Nan Reinhardt 

Story starts out with Maddie and she's arrived in town looking for her new job, managing a builders crew.  She applied but was not chosen to be interviewed.   Then she gets a call after the last guy has left and its very high price and she takes it.

Besides the romance there are big mysteries as to who is sabotaging the work sites. She loves her job, and even helping do some of them to show the people how to do the job efficiently.  

Her boss, Jack is one to not leave by himself.

She comes up with an idea to merge all the buildings and work as one. 

She is able to confront the culprit, all by herself and he pulls her into the framed house, she falls down the stairs into the basement....

She has a few tricks up her sleeve but there's no way she can overtake him by herself. While this is going on Jack is busy wheeling and dealing with other builders...Like how Maddie links up with other females.

Something for everyone in this book: mysteries, sabotage, romance, careers and how to do them

Christmas Crime at Kingfisher Falls by Philipa Nefri Clark

This story starts out with Charlotte and she's moved to take a job at the bookstore in town. She is new to the area and Rosie the owner just loves her and the help she is given during the busy Christmas holiday season. There are so many weird things happening along with trees, decorated are being stolen all around town. Charlotte has her own thought on who the culprits are but as she gets around town more she tapes pictures on her phone to prove things to others.  Rosie is even threatened from the book club. SO many people are after them and other families in town. There are a lot of mysteries surrounding this town that she is able to solve.  Love nature walks and the descriptions. So pretty.
